Two things users bemoan about the Samsung Galaxy S6: Its lack of a microSD card slot for storage expansion, and its sealed, non-replaceable battery.
Samsung Galaxy S6 turned out not the flagship many was hoping for. It ditched the SD expansion slot the water protection and removable battery for good, in f. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 supports microSD memory cards which can be purchased from any Verizon store or online. Ensure the device is powered off. From the right edge of the device (display facing up), remove the card tray.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge do not come with a micro SD card slot. If you have data from an old phone or SD card that you want to transfer to the S6. Then this might be a problem for you. And painful as well. Dual-USB storage. Dual-USB drive is a great option with both micro and regular USB ends.
Samsung traded the two features in for a thinner and lighter design made from glass and aluminum — which, in our opinion, was worth it. But if you're still stingy about losing the features (and have no interest in picking up the equally impressive LG G4), this case from Incipio may interest you.

Called the offGRID, the case comes with a 3,700 milliamp-hour (mAh) battery that can recharge a Galaxy S6 100% and then some. (A Galaxy S6 has a 2,550 mAh battery). That solves the non-removable battery complaint.
The case also has a microSD card slot that works with cards up to 128GB in capacity, which solves the storage expansion issue.
Sure, you're adding a little more bulk to your skinny Galaxy S6. But what you gain is a ton more versatility (and protection for your phone).
The case is available for a steep $89.99. There's also a model for the Galaxy S6 Edge.
Another way to add more battery life and 128GB of storage to your Galaxy S6 is with an external battery bank and storage solution, such as Mophie's Spacestation. Those come with way bigger (6,000 mAh) batteries, but they start at $150 for a 32GB, $200 for a 64GB and $300 for a 128GB.

Samsung investigated Oreo (8.0) for the S6, but it never got approved and pushed out. So the S6 remains on Nougat. Saying that. There was an update for the S6 family (and the Note 5) back in November, which GSM Arena never reported (c'mon ...
